The World Study Fund charity

Chances for the future

We believe a good future starts with good education. The world economy is progressively more knowledge based. Hence there is a need for countries to improve the provision of education or training for all it's citizens.

The world Study Fund limits it's support therefore to study and education. It's aim is to take care of child's entire education from kindergarten to university, so it sponsors a wide range of pupils. Sponsorship is not construed by a timeframe and it's funds are directed at schools to ensure learners receive all the benefits available.

How you can help.

The World Study Fund encourages individuals and organizations to support one or more children in Third World Countries. The cost of enabling a child to have a better future is 8,75 Euros a months. However, any donation will be gratefully received. Donations may be given monthly, Quarterly, bi-annually or annually. One-off donations would also be very much appreciated.

In the menu item how to help, you can find these and other ways of help in us. Assistance can also be provided by placing banners, links on your website, or placing stickers on your own car or company fleet.

Millenniumdoel 2: In 2015: achieve universal primary education

Why Nepal?

Nepal is one of the poorest countries in the world. It has suffered for decennia from corruption and civil war against the Maoists. On the 1st February 2005 the king of Nepal dismantled parliament, in order to tackle corruption and end the civil war. In May 2006, with the help of the people's movement, the 7 party alliance regained governmental control.
Just as in Bangladesh, children in Nepal, particularly girls, have had little chance to study. Without a proper education kids have no real opportunity to develop. The support of the World Study Fund enables children to study and reach their full potential and thereby making a lasting contribution to the development of their country.
